This year, Chevy’s heavy-duty models join their smaller linemates in the wilderness with the first-ever Silverado HD ZR2 Bison Edition. Now that Chevrolet’s trio of off-road-ready pickup trucks is complete, we think it’s time you’ve been properly introduced to all three.
2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition
The Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition keeps all the features that make Chevy’s midsize truck the perfect everyman vehicle. It hikes it up four inches and makes several off-road-friendly suspension alterations before adding a layer of daring ruggedness and outfitting it in AEV gear. The Colorado ZR2 Bison features Multimatic DSSV shocks, AEV wheels, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory® MT Tires, fortified AEV bumpers, boron-steel skid plates, and a smattering and AEV badging stamped throughout the interior and exterior design. In addition, the Colorado ZR2 Bison off-road ready specs and features include 12.2 inches of ground clearance and exclusive hydraulic jounce bumpers.
2024 Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison Edition
The face of the 2024 Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison Edition gives strong-silent-type vibes, and the growl of the 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine is a satisfying match to the exterior design. (A 305-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder Duramax diesel engine is also available.) The off-road capable, half-ton pickup features 18-inch Gloss Black AEV wheels and a whole host of AEV goodies that include:

2024 Silverado HD ZR2 Bison Edition
If you’ve ever wanted to take the towing prowess of the Silverado HD models far off the beaten path, the Silverado HD ZR2 Bison was made just for you. It’s offered exclusively with the 2500 Crew Cab configuration. It features the same impressive towing capabilities as the standard heavy-duty trucks but with a lifted suspension, integrated mudguards, larger steel transfer skid plate, front aluminum skid plates, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler MT tires, and Multimatic DSSV dampers.
In addition, the ZR2 Bison version of Chevy’s powerhouse truck includes:
